The Office of Leasing at GSA is pleased to announce the new Simplified Lease Acquisition Threshold (SLAT) Model.  This new acquisition model is designed to save the government and its industry partners time and money on smaller acquisitions.  The offer process is completed in 2 steps, similar to the Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP).  The first step invites all eligible Offerors to submit their offered price and basic information.  The Offeror with the lowest price from step 1 is invited to submit a complete due diligence package in step 2 while the other Offerors are saved from the time and cost of submitting a full offer package if they are not in a position to win the award.
